To live is to be in relationship

Our relationships with each other and with our environment change evolve and constantly call us forth to examine who we are now and who we are becoming. Even when we are alone, we are in a relationship with ourselves.

We always have a choice

The fabric of our world is woven with a promise- that we can always return to our best selves, to our core values, to our inherent capacity to create a world in which all living things can thrive. I believe it is not only a promise but a choice to be made-- to be the best we can be and align with our destiny.

Speech is powerful

The words we use can create worlds and destroy them. Choosing words with care and attending to the words of others shapes who we are and how we share meaning. We need to make room for multiple voices: those inside of us and those around us and learn to speak from the heart.

Laughter is a gift

Genuine laughter touches the soul and brings us closer to ourselves and to each other. When we can begin to trust the spontaneity of joy, we begin to trust ourselves.

There is a divine spirit within each of us

We have the capacity to connect to a sacred spirit within ourselves and seek it out in others. Our spirit links us inextricably to powerful inner resources and to each other.
